ZEISS LSM 900 with Airyscan

The ZEISS LSM 900 is an inverted confocal laser scanning microscope with Airyscan 2 technology. This system is designed to obtain high-resolution, high-contrast images of cells and biomolecules. The Airyscan 2 detector provides resolutions down to 120 nm (XY) and 350 nm (Z). It enables imaging of temperature-sensitive samples with an opaque integrated incubation module that reduces ambient light effects.

Features:

  1. Detectors: Two GaAsP PMT detectors, one transmission light detector, and one Airyscan 2 detector with 32 channels.
  2. Laser Module: Emit light at wavelengths of 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, and 640 nm.
  3. Airyscan 2 and jDCV: This detector can perform confocal imaging at speeds of more than 3 frames per second, enabling rapid scanning of samples. jDCV (Joint Deconvolution) module improves signal noise and increases resolution.
  4. Axiocam 705 mono: Provides high-resolution monochrome imaging, low-light fluorescence imaging, high frame rate and wide spectral sensitivity.
  5. Motorized Stage and Z Piezo Stage: Suitable for tiling large areas and creating Z-stacks.
  6. Definite Focus 3: Compensates for focus shifts in multi-position time-lapse imaging.
  7. Objectives: EC-Plan NEO 5X 0.085 NA, Plan-APO 10X 0.45 NA, Plan-APO 20X 0.8 NA, Plan-APO 40X 0.95 NA, C-APO 40X 1.2 NA W, Plan-APO 63X 1.4 NA Oil.
